After a few days of being in Larabanga, we began to know more about everything that was happening. One thing that really impressed me was that Ibrahim already had a plan for an Education Centre. This is going to be a place were the children under Ibrahim's care can have a safe place to sleep and to learn. They are the basics right? We all have the right to shelter and an education so why because of economic and geographical situations does that need to be different for the children of Larabanga. There is a small Primary School in Larabanga but the classes are extremely overcrowded. This may seem completely insane to you but there was a class outside under a tree, occupied by over 160 pupils, under the age of 6. How on earth is that an acceptable learning environment?
